Joy To The World is about an angry little girl named Joy who does video blogs.

Joy is an angry, opinionated, little 10 year old who is smarter than the world around her and depressed by that fact. So her hobby is making video blogs for her own amusement and that provide devilish entertainment.

I came up with the idea for this series back when my computers motherboard died and I had 2½ months without a computer, and projects to work on. Originally I had just planned to have a series of 30 second or so toons with a little girl who just throws random one liners to explain a topic (like sex, or swearing) but that idea eventually evolved.

Originally I was going to have the little girl named “Honesty” because everything she says is harsh, but true and the series title I had considered was Honesty Hurts. However after 3 weeks of mulling over ideas it didn’t seem to come together, and eventually at a sushi restaurant with a friend I explained the series idea I had. After explaining to him about an angry, evil, foul mouthed, little girl and what she rants about, that her name was “Joy” he burst out laughing and that was that.

This series will have two types of episodes: The one minute episodes, which are a variety of rants, and “A Little Joy” which are primarily just 30 second short toons that are more random. Every other episode I upload will be A Little Joy.
